Embossing Powder

Embossing Powder - create stunning embossed effects on your crafting projects!

Embossing Powder is a fine synthetic resin powder that gives stamp impressions a lacquer-like and raised relief character. This effect makes embossing one of the key techniques in stamping and your mixed media projects. With embossing you can permanently apply stamp motifs to a wide variety of materials. In addition to paper and cardboard, you can also decorate metal, wood, textiles and plastic with embossing powder.

Embossing powder - even more interesting facts!

Please make sure that the material you want to emboss can withstand the heat of the embossing process. And this is how it works: the still wet stamp (use embossing ink for stamping, e.g. Versamark or pigment stamp ink, which stays fresh for a long time) sprinkle with embossing powder, put the rest of the powder back into the jar, because the powder only sticks to the stamp imprint and the remaining powder can be reused. Then heat the whole thing with an embossing hair dryer. This melts the embossing powder and your stamp motif already has a wonderful, raised relief structure. You will be delighted with the result.
