What is art journaling?

Art Journaling - For many in the creative field a common or often heard term.

But what is it really? Art journaling is keeping a painting diary or creative diary. It is creative expression, self-reflection, inspiration and relaxation at the same time. According to the motto "Everything is allowed" you can draw, paint, stamp, scribble, write etc. to your heart's content. Gluing, painting, cutting, making collages, putting thoughts and feelings into words - there is so much that can be found in an art journal. And there is no right or wrong, because it is not about the finished result, but about the design process itself, which allows as much personal creative freedom as each person wants.
