Take your substrate, place the stencil on it and apply a generous amount of paste or gel, e.g. the Nuvo Glimmer Paste, with a spatula. Carefully remove stencil and allow paste to dry (drying time may vary by product). Please clean the stencil immediately under running water so that next time you can have untroubled handicraft fun.
